Many speculations have surfaced about GeForce RTX 3080/3080 Ti versions with 20 GB of VRAM. At least one of these early prototypes seems to have been delivered to AIBs. Someone in Russia paid about $3,070 for a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming OC with 20 GB of RAM.

Because there are no drivers for the graphics card, it can only be utilized for one thing: mining. The owner attempted to contact GIGABYTE Russia for drivers but was informed that the card was not available.

Overclock core and memory settings were pre-configured on the card. The Ethash algorithm achieved approximately 94 MH/s when tested with Gminer or NBminer. According to the vendor, they were able to get 97.9% on the identical card. This is almost 64% more than the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti LHR, which has 12 GB of RAM. Both cards utilize GDDR6X, however this one uses a 320-bit bus rather than the official GeForce RTX 3080 Ti’s 384-bit bus.

Many fans will be interested in the RTX 3080 Ti 20GB variant, but sadly, it is only suitable for cryptomining in this instance. It lacks the necessary drivers (it is unsupported by the official Game Ready driver). The YouTuber attempted to discover more about the card, such as where to get drivers for it, but Gigabyte Russia replied that such a model does not exist.
