The amellwind’s Guide to Monster Hunting is a guide that was released on September 9th, 2018. It has been updated as of September 9th, 2018 with the release of Hunter’s Stash 3.1

The Hunter’s Stash, as well as Amellwind’s Guide to Monster Hunting, have been updated, and may be found here:

Four new monsters and other monster material improvements are included in this release.

————————————————————– CHANGELOG:

• Valstrax Crimson Glow has been added.
• Uragaan Pumpkin has been added.
• Arzuros drenched in blood have been added.
• Chaotic Gigginox has been added to the mix.
• Weapon material effects for Diablos Carapace and Diablos Ridge have been switched. In addition, the KO. substance may only be used once each turn. The KO effect has also been added to the Immortal reactor material from the raging brach. This was done in order to balance the monks’ stunning blow and make it more difficult to get.
• Valstrax: Fire damage has been altered to necrotic, and it is no longer charmed or terrified. a new skill The Comet of the Red Planet. When the valstrax uses the Dash action, it does not create opportunity attacks. (edited)
• The material impact of the Weakness Exploit has been modified. It was as follows:

Exploit a flaw. When a creature is susceptible to this weapon’s damage type, your weapon does the most damage.

It is now: for monsters with a CR of 14 or lower:

Exploit a flaw. If the lowest of the two d20 rolls would also hit the target and you have advantage on an attack roll with this weapon and you hit the target, you may have your weapon inflict its maximum damage (all extra damage dice must still be rolled). You may use this feature up to the number of times your Strength or Dexterity modifier (whichever you choose) and reclaim all spent uses after a long rest.

It is now: for CR 15+ monsters:

Weakness Exploit+ is a method of exploiting a weakness. If the lowest of the two d20 rolls would also hit the target and you have advantage on an attack roll with this weapon and you hit the target, you may have your weapon inflict its maximum damage (all extra damage dice must still be rolled). You may use this feature up to the number of times your Strength or Dexterity modifier (whichever you choose) and reclaim any spent uses after a short or long rest.

• Pelt of Congalala Now: (was used to recover 1 ki point) You may spend one minute pondering the patterns carved on this weapon’s surface while attuned to it and reclaim a number of spent ki points equal to half your proficiency modifier. Once you’ve used this property, you won’t be able to use it again until you’ve slept for a long time. ————————————————————–

To obtain your own, go to File>Make a Copy after clicking the link. The Hunter’s Stash will be updated as a result of this. Please ensure that your old stash inventory is copied over to the new list. As always, I’ll keep this document up to date and change the above link as required.
