The Intel Core i9-12900K “Alder Lake-S” CPU has been benchmarked by a few different websites and it is outperforming AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Threadripper 2990WX.
The intel core i9-12900k price is the latest Intel Core series processor that has been released. It is an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a base clock of 3.6GHz and a boost clock of 4.7GHz.

More and more benchmarks praising Intel’s forthcoming “Alder-Lake-S” flagship CPU are appearing on the internet. The most recent comes from REHWK, who released Cinebench results indicating that the Core i9-12900K would outperform AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X in multi-core performance. The benchmarks also indicate that Intel’s new flagship would outperform a Ryzen Threadripper 2990X, which would be hilarious if this SKU hadn’t been released years ago. Red team’s processor, on the other hand, is a behemoth with 32 cores—exactly double the number of cores that Intel’s newest flagship has to deal with.
According to a Wccftech report:
[…] In Cinebench R23, the Intel Core i9-12900K CPU achieved an incredible 30,549 points. This makes the Alder Lake CPU not only the first mainstream chip to breach the 30K barrier on Cinebench R23, but it also outperforms AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX, which has 32 Zen 2 cores. For contrast, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X has a score of approximately 28,500 points, which is at least 7% quicker than the Intel Alder Lake processor, and what’s more intriguing is that this may not be the chip’s ultimate performance.

In November, Intel is scheduled to release its 12th Gen Core “Alder Lake-S” mainstream desktop CPUs. The new Z690 platform, which supports DDR5 memory, will be released to coincide with the release.
