Clipboard is a holding area for text or images that you have cut or copied. The clipboard can hold multiple items at a time. To see what’s currently on your clipboard, tap and hold anywhere in a text field and choose Paste from the pop-up menu.
You can also access the clipboard by long pressing on an empty text field. This will bring up a Paste button above the keyboard, as well as give you the option to paste any recently cut or copied items from your clipboard history.
BACKGROUND
To access your clipboard history, tap and hold on the Paste button, then select Show Clipboard. From here, you can tap on any item to paste it, or tap and hold to delete it. Once you’ve added the Clipboard keyboard, you can access it by tapping on the globe icon next to the spacebar. This will bring up a list of all the keyboards you have installed. Tap on Clipboard to switch to it.

This will bring up a list of all the items you have saved. Tap on an item to paste it, or tap and hold to delete it. You can also access your clipboard history from the Today widget. Just add the Clipboard widget to your Today view by going to Settings > Today, then scrolling down and tapping on the “Edit” button. Add the Clipboard widget, then tap on Done. To use the widget, just tap on the Clipboard icon and select the item you want to paste.
