Forza Horizon 5 Mod Enables Ray Tracing beyond Forza Vista and Garage Modes. The mod was created by a group of modders on the PC version of the game.

The ray tracing in Forza Horizon 5 is no longer limited to the Forza Vista and garage modes. This is owing to a new cheat engine hack for the PC that adds ray-traced reflections to all of the thrilling races in the game. These impacts, however, are confined to the player’s vehicles and do not affect other vehicles or the environment.

The differences might be slight in many settings – notably in-game – but up close to the automobile, the difference can be dramatic, therefore applying the mod in picture mode can help you capture a far better photograph. In reality, the thumbnail picture in the video is based on a Playground press shot with ray tracing enabled: you can see the vehicle reflected in the front mounted lights. It’s also worth noting that the effect is used throughout the introduction’s pre-rendered cinematics. After all, why not? The automobiles are the show-stoppers, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing enhances the beauty of these stunning models.

The patch has made it possible for Playground Games to bring more ray-tracing capabilities to Forza Horizon 5 in a future version. Last week, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that the open-world racing had the best launch of any first-party Xbox game ever.
