The miniStack STX may be set with an NVMe M.2 SSD and a hard drive and can be paired with additional devices. The DIY enclosure starts at $299 and goes all the way up to $1,249.

The Thunderbolt ports enable up to 60 watts of power supply and may be utilized to charge devices. MacDrive ($49.99) is software from OWC that gives Windows 10 users complete access to Mac disks.
