The miniStack STX, the world’s first Thunderbolt 4 storage and hub extension solution, has been launched by OWC, a producer of expansion tools for Apple devices. It can be linked to Thunderbolt or USB-equipped Macs, PCs, iPads, Chromebooks, and Android tablets and can be stacked with the Mac Mini.

OWC, the world’s first Thunderbolt 4 Certified storage and hub expansion solution that seamlessly stacks with the Mac mini, announces the OWC miniStack STX, the world’s first zero-emissions Mac and PC technology company and a respected provider of Memory, External Drives, SSDs, Mac & PC Docking Solutions, Network Attached Storage, and Performance Upgrade Kits. It’s also a Plug and Play expansion companion for Macs, PCs, iPads, Chromebooks, and Android tablets with Thunderbolt or USB ports. Millions of Thunderbolt, USB-C, and future USB4 devices and accessories are connected through three Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C compliant) ports. The OWC miniStack STX is ideal for bandwidth-intensive video editing, photography, music, virtual machines, and routine data backup and access workloads, with storage performance of up to 770MB/s. It runs cool and quietly thanks to heat-dissipating aircraft-grade aluminum, an internal heat sink, and a high-efficiency fan.
