A new rumor is making the rounds that Venom will have an end credits scene teasing a possible Spider-Man crossover. This would be a huge deal for Marvel, as it’s been years since they’ve had a movie with the web-slinger in it.

On the big screen, Spider-Man may face up against Venom once again. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is said to include an end-credits sequence in which Eddie Brock (Venom) watches J. Jonah Jameson berating Spider-Man following the defeat of Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far from Home.
Although the teaser does not explicitly state that the two will meet in the fourth Spider-Man film, director Andy Serkis said in a recent interview that they will. He does, however, want to continue working on Venom. Some sources think it will occur in a Spider-Man or Venom film, while others believe it will occur in a Secret Wars film. Kevin Feige has shot down reports that the project is in the works, but has hinted that it could happen if there is enough demand. The Venom symbiote was first introduced in the Secret Wars comic book.
That is, after all, the burning question on everyone’s lips. They want to know whether Venom will meet Spider-Man, but I don’t think that will happen. I’m just kidding; of course, it’ll happen… But I believe there is a lot… Look, it all depends on when you want to go and how hungry you are. If fans want more Venom tales, jumping directly to Spider-Man may mean losing out on a slew of fantastic supervillains in the meantime. So, in some ways, rushing to it may be shutting the door… Whereas, if people are enjoying the mythology, I believe that all of the other characters who are in the canon, who are there in the Venom mythos — for example, all of the supervillains who reside at Ravencroft, the institution for the criminally insane – could lead to some amazing tales. Before then, there are other characters like Toxin and all the other symbiotes to be gained… But, sure, everyone wants to see Venom battle Spider-Man… And it’s about people’s appetites, how much they want… they’ll give up everything if they want to get directly to that.
