The most recent update to the Final Fantasy XIV MMO released on March 27th of 2018, and this one is a doozy. The patch notes are 15 pages long and contain dozens of changes to every aspect of the game. It’s also hard not to mention that Patch 6.0 was originally announced in September 2017 with an estimated release date for December 7th, 2017 (which has since then been pushed back), meaning it took over three months from announcement until release – which makes me wonder just how many other significant updates have been delayed or cancelled altogether?
