Bleakmill has published a trailer for its forthcoming first-person shooter, INDUSTRIA, which will be available on Steam and GOG on September 30. The game starts in East Berlin in 1989, at the conclusion of the Cold War era. The main character starts on the hunt for a lost coworker after receiving a farewell note. She is taken to another realm after finding a gateway in a hidden research facility. Players will fight humanoid robot monsters while unraveling the mystery of what happened to her buddy in this weird, surreal, steampunk-styled world.

Silent Hill, Half-Life 2, and Portal were all inspirations for INDUSTRIA developers David Jungnickel and Steve Chapman. A tiny crew has been working on the game for almost six years. It was supposed to happen in the first quarter of 2021.

About Us

We, Berlin-based David Jungnickel and Glasgow-based Steve Chapman, first met in 2014. Working in a large group, we quickly decided to pursue our own personal passion project: INDUSTRIA. It began as a Silent Hill-style game, evolved into an undiscovered horror indie game, and finally became a fleshed-out first-person shooter set in a steampunk setting. Because we both have a history of modding, particularly in the Source Engine, a strong resemblance to well-known games like Half-Life 2 and Portal has naturally evolved over time. INDUSTRIA is on track to be published in Q1 2021, thanks to the help of our composer Lukas Zepf, as well as a character animator and many voice actors.
